When I was in Seattle, I was discussing my story, "Solitary", with my Grandmother. She was telling me that, with all experiences, come a learning process and teaches us a state of mind. Which she included that, short stories, could be written from.
Well she's right.
Today I decided that, when I write long stories, after about 5-10 chapters of writing, I become lazy and bored with it. I haven't written "Solitary" in almost a month.
So I have decided, that I will continue writing it, but after I write a few to many short stories.
If I write short stories, then I will gain experience, and the timing will be perfect; I will write a few chapters if more than 1 and then take a break. I wouldn't be hindering my progress.
So you will soon see a variety of short stories coming in soon enough.
